Bart Miller / Owner-Instructor-Examiner

As USA’s international Examiner Bart has trained and certified countless instructors throughout the world. His disciples have gone on to open kiteschools all over the world including South America, Canada, USA, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Founder of the only IKO PRO Kite Center in California and host to the first IKO instructor training in the region, Bart has raised the quality and safety of the sport locally as well as globally. At home, Bart is the trainer for SCKA Safety Clinics and trainer/advisor to Orange County and Long Beach lifeguards; co-host and co-founder to Belmont Shore Kite Expo; expert for Weather Channel's kitesurfing program; expert at teaching kitesurfing from a watercraft; guide for downwinders and to many kite trips and host to local kite parties and events.

Parker Miller / Kite Guru

Experienced IKO Certified Level 3 Full-Time Professional Instructor Parker Miller is the motor behind the family-run Kiteschool of SoCal Kitesurfing. With teaching and kiting experience at international locations including the Caribbean and Brazil, Parker is known for his ability to make daring rescues of distressed kiters. Parker has taught countless action-oriented students to ride in a single day with his hands on approach, and he is also very patient for those who need the reassurance of his calm confidence. So many have learned quickly and safely with Parker.
